We’ve integrated Unsplash into the Delivra product so you have access to 3+ million free, high-resolution stock photos.
If you’re selling a product, promoting an event, or nurturing a lead (and everything in between), you know great imagery matters and that it’s hard to come by (or it comes with a price tag and makes you dependent on another team).
It’s now easier than ever to customize your campaigns with professional, high-quality photos.
You have a lot of hoops to jump through if you’re a marketer who doesn’t have access to your own stock photography: finding images through an online search, trying to find the licensing permissions, downloading and then uploading into your platform’s image library—crossing your fingers that the image will appear as high-resolution and that you haven’t just committed copyright infringement.
That’s a lot of work to get your hands on something so essential. And it’s a process that puts small business owners and marketers at a disadvantage.
That’s why we made it a priority to integrate a solution into Delivra. We’ve created a direct connection between the Unsplash image library and our email builder, so you can import professional, copyright-free stock images in seconds.
What is the new Unsplash for Delivra library feature?
We’ve integrated the Unsplash image library into Delivra to make it easier than ever to customize your email templates with professional, high-quality photos.
Now, when creating an email, you can click “Import from Unsplash” to choose from their collection of royalty-free images—and then import an image directly into your email template.
With the Unsplash library, you’ll be able to:
- Skip the upload/download, and import images directly into your templates.
- Have your pick of 3+ million professional stock photos right inside Delivra.
- Forget about attributing every picture, every image in the Unsplash library is royalty-free.
You don’t need an Unsplash account to use this feature, you’ll be able to access the library from within the Delivra email builder.
How to use the new Unsplash feature
With Unsplash, you can now import professional stock images into your email design without ever leaving Delivra.
1. Click “Import from Unsplash”
Within the email editor, select an image space on your email template, then click the “image” icon that appears in the right-side toolbar—this will take you to your upload library. From there, click “Import from Unsplash” on the top left.
2. Search the Unsplash library
Search the Unsplash library using keywords for the image you want, then select an image to upload and click “Import.”
3. Select image and click “Insert”
The image will appear in your upload library. When it’s finished uploading, re-select it and click “Insert.” (Pro tip: you can add alt text for the image in the bottom text bar before you insert).
Your image will appear on your email design!
Why we think you’ll love it
Our number one goal is always to make your emailing easier and more effective. And dealing with creative assets is a big part of your day so we wanted to make adding images to your email templates as quick and uncomplicated as possible.
So, we picked a platform that would integrate smoothly with Delivra. The result: a simple button-click and a keyword search unlocks an expansive image library that connects directly with your saved image gallery within Delivra.
Why Unsplash stood out (and why we knew it was the best choice for Delivra customers):
- The Unplash team hand-selects every photo that appears in their library.
- Choosing from the Unsplash library guarantees a high-resolution image which will help you avoid a dreaded blurry-picture mishap.
- Over 290,000 photographers contribute to Unsplash, from hobbyists to professionals, so you’re sure to find exactly what you’re looking for—and a whole host of unique options.
- Unsplash is integrated with several website builders, so it’s possible to use the same imagery on your website and in your emails.
- Every image in the Unsplash library is completely free to use so you’re never working against a stock photography budget or left submitting invoices.

How Unsplash in Delivra can improve your email marketing
As for you—the really savvy email marketer—there are few ways Unsplash makes your life easier beyond what we’ve already covered.
Work smarter not harder
Create email campaigns in half the time by saving a branded template and swapping out your images with Unsplash.
When you create and save an email template in Delivra, you can replicate it as many times as you like. When creating a new campaign, click “Start from Template.” Within the “Custom Template” tab, you’ll find the template you made and saved earlier.
You can use that saved template as a base so all you have to do is swap out the content and images to create a whole new email. The new Unsplash features means you can add all-new images in minutes and without leaving Delivra—saving you valuable time and helping you build out a structured process for email creation.
This is a godsend for the regular newsletter-senders of the world!
Always test your strategy
Using a saved template, create email variations with different stock photography from Unsplash to A/B test your image strategy.
Now you’ve got a template and a quick way to switch out images, A/B testing (or split testing) has never been easier. Use a saved template to create variations of the same email, testing which images generate better results with your audience.
Or, if you rarely use images in your emails, this is a great way to confirm whether or not your audience prefers it that way. Perhaps an image grabs their attention? Maybe it helps them better connect with your brand? Or maybe you were right all along, and images distract from your content.
Either way, Unsplash means testing images (or different kinds of images) in your emails doesn’t have to be a huge resource drain. You don’t need to invest in professional stock photography or spend hours scouring the web for images.
You’ve probably been frustrated before by ESPs that only allow you to split test the subject line, but Delivra has a lot more flexibility, so we recommend you check out How do I send an A/B test campaign? if you’re ready to dive in with Unsplash and start testing some emails.
